In the beginning... writers created story bibles for their own writing projects.
They scrawled ideas on scraps of paper which were either lost to the winds or the washing machine. Slightly better organised writers slipped them into a folder and there they lay - little lonely fragments of stories.
I wanted more:
- A hardbacked journal, made to last, that could travel with me to work every day or when I traveled abroad so I would never lose an idea again
- When I was at home, I wanted a journal in a bold colour that would jump out at me instead of hiding on the shelf
- I desperately sought a writing companion, the ultimate sidekick - one that included prompts and a breakdown of what writers need to consider for writing projects, such as characters, plot, setting, and theme.
It was like hunting unicorns. I couldn't find what I needed anywhere, so I created my own: Story Bible - the Life-and Death Journal for Writers.
I now share Story Bible with you, so you don't have to hunt for it but can spend your precious time filling it with writing ideas. My Story Bible is your Story Bible, but the story is all yours.
Enda Storrie.
